I have prosopagnosia, or face-blindness. I can physically see faces, but I have a hard time recognizing and distinguishing people. I can eventually learn a face, but it takes a long time and repeated exposure for me to do so. I have developmental face-blindness, which means it was present at birth and is not the result of brain injury.
This is just a spot where I can talk about being face-blind, including coping mechanisms I employ, anecdotes from my everyday life, and so forth. If you're curious about face-blindness, feel free to ask questions. I can only answer for me, but I'll be happy to answer.
